Ok! So we’ve had a crazy week this week in rehearsals, and still more to come.  I think our past 3 rehearsals have been really beneficial as we’ve been going over our completed scenes and doing full run throughs.  Today in class, Mr Cash watched another complete run through of what we’ve done so far, timed it, and wrote out a couple of pages of notes for things we need to fix or work on.  It was very helpful and he also gave us a few more ideas and better ways to incorporate other non-naturalistic styles! Some of our scenes were a bit too realistic, so by looking through our non-naturalistic theatrical conventions list we picked out a few things we could add into our ensemble. We’ve also started wearing blacks to every rehearsal, this enables us to be less restricted in our movements, (rather than wearing a bulky winter school uniform) and also it’s getting us into the feel that performance is only around the corner!! Now that is a very scary thought!  So we have a 2 hour rehearsal after school tomorrow and hopefully we can work on fixing and adding and editing our already completed scenes to make them AWESOME.

I’m excited now girlies, these past few weeks have been busy and stressful but so fun and I’m oh so glad to be doing this ensemble with such good friends.  Love you handful
